Yam Haus

Yam Haus reached out to me initially in 2020, sending me some of their current songs. I felt immediately that the band had potential upon hearing those early songs. Due to covid at that time, there were a lot of “remote” meetings and sessions where we were unfortunately not getting what I thought we needed from the band creatively. I finally asked the band to fly out (from their homes in Minneapolis) to my home studio in Nashville TN, and had the whole band stay with me to write and record songs, some of which I felt were pretty good. However, it was also a tough time for signing (a band to a music label) and getting bands out on tour. To partially remedy this, I helped negotiate Yam Haus opening for (another artist I currently work with) Blue October in 2022, and that (touring experience) helped the live show performed by the band tremendously and boosted their self confidence. We then recorded one last set of songs that year, which lead to a partnership with EoM, music label Big Loud Rock and a deal with the band in 2023. The band is currently still working with the label, releasing new music and touring.
